Trexi is Play Imaginative’s flagship designer toy, which is now a popular canvas art toy among artists, designers and toy collectors worldwide.

2. COMPETITION RULES

1. The competition is open to all Singapore residents aged 16 and above.
2. This competition is for individuals only.
3. Participants are to download the templates at http://www.trexi.com.sg/tdc.
4. For the graphic being created
   1. both hand-drawn and digitally illustrated designs are welcome
   2. do not use gradient colours in your designs
   3. keep to a maximum of 7 colours (black and white will also be considered as colours)
   4. fill up the information in the boxes before submitting
   5. the Trexi logos located on the base of the feet may not be changed in any way EXCEPT for the colour, which can be changed to contrast with the feet, and
   6. make sure you design on all the views.

3. COMPETITION DETAILS & PRIZES

1. The submitted entries will be judged by a panel formed by Play Imaginative.
2. The prizes are:
               1st Prize                S$300
               2nd Prize               S$200
               3rd Prize                S$100
               Merit Awards       S$50 (x7)
   
   Winning designs may have the opportunity to be produced for future product releases by Play Imaginative. Use of winning design work for future product releases is subject to Organizer’s discretion.

4. JUDGING CRITERIA

1. All submission will be judged based on:
   1. Originality and Creativity                                          50%
   2. Appearance (Colour and Rendering)                          50%

5. Submission of DESIGNS

1. Templates are available for download starting from Monday, 1 June 2009 at http://www.trexi.com.sg/tdc.
2. Participants are to submit their designs using the templates available on the abovementioned website. Personal particulars must be completed on all submitted templates. Submissions which do not bear completed personal particulars will be disqualified.
3. Contestants MUST submit their designs in both soft-copy AND hard-copy formats for their submission to be valid (please see Points 5.4 and 5.5 for submission procedure).
4. Soft-copy designs are to be submitted via email to denise@playimaginative.com by Friday, 13 November 2009. All form fields and particulars must be filled in on the templates when submitted.
5. Hardcopies of the completed designs have to be sent to 627 Aljunied Road, #06-00 Pacific Building, Singapore 389837 (Attn: Denise Tan – Trexi 4th Anniversary Design Competition) by Friday, 20 November 2009.
6. The Title and Name of Designer must be clearly written on the space provided in the template.
7. All submitted items will not be returned.
8. All works submitted should be original and should not have been awarded by the organiser of another similar competition before.
9. All participants are responsible for ensuring their submission will not infringe existing copyright/patent law.
10. Play Imaginative Pte Ltd (PI) is not liable for infringement or abuse of any design as a result of entry in this competition or as a result of subsequent publicity.
11. Entries that do not meet the competition rules will be disqualified.

6. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS

1. The winners and their ranking will be announced during the Trexi 4th Anniversary Design Competition will be notified by e-mail on Friday, 18 December 2009.
2. In event of a tie in the results, Play Imaginative Pte Ltd (PI) reserves the right to redistribute the prizes.
3. All decisions made by the judging panel are final.
