Adobe, the software giant with a range of products for digital media creation and editing, multimedia authoring, and web development, revolutionises how the world engages with ideas and information. In line with its Creative Suite 3.0 software launch, the Company created 3 unique trexi figures – Fonti, Webbi and Eddi – this “CS3 Musketeers Collection” was made available with the pre-order promotion of CS 3.0 from 27 March to 18 April 2007.

DHL

DHL, the world’s leading express and logistics company, announced the official opening of its eXpo Service Centre @ Changi South on 6th July to mark the company’s 35 years in Singapore. The centre was opened by the Minister of State for Trade and Industry, S Iswaran, and saw over 200 invited customers, media and employees each receiving a DHL Courier trexi included in the welcome goodie bag. As part of the celebration, DHL also encouraged customers to personally lodge in shipments at the new eXpo Service Centre to receive a free DHL Courier trexi.

ST Electronics

ST Electronics, the electronics arm of ST Engineering, is a leader in electronics, communications and ICT (information communications technologies) solutions in the region.

ST Electronics’ pair of adorable 1.5-inch trexis were distributed at CommunicAsia 2007 in June, the region’s formative ICT exhibition & conference. The trexis will also be available during the Singapore Air Show from 19 to 24 February 2008. Singapore Airshow, Asia's largest aerospace and defence event, is one of the top three air shows in the world and serves as a global marketplace and networking platform for the military and civil aviation community.

o.d.m.

o.d.m. is a Hong Kong-based watch brand that specialises in original designs and dynamic functions. Their latest 1.5-inch "Never Too Late" trexi were given out to guests at their "go PINK" party. The trexis were also exclusively available with selected purchases of their watches.


Coca-Cola: Worldwide Licensing

Play Imaginative’s expertise in designer toys and the popular trexi platform served as a launching pad for the first licensing program of its type with Coca-Cola’s Worldwide Licensing team. The Coca-Cola Presents “We All Speak Football” trexi Series comprises 25 renowned designers worldwide who share a common passion for Coca-Cola and football.

Centred on the concept of football as a ‘common language’ and a deep passion which brings people from all walks of life together, the trexis reflect the artists’ impressions of what football and Coca-Cola mean to them.  Packaged in their individual, unique boxes designed by the respective artists, each trexi includes design biographies and inspirations.




Coca-Cola: Singapore


For the inaugural launch of the trexi series in April 2005, Coca-Cola Singapore and Play Imaginative collaborated on two trexi figures which carried the Coca-Cola brand values: Rex Blastin’ and Rad Blastin’ trexis.  Both characters were designed to be fun, hip, and free spirits. 

At the launch event, the first 30 readers of “The New Paper” (Singapore) redeemed exclusive Rex Blastin’ trexis with a cut-out coupon.  Rad Blastin' trexis were deployed on the "CokeAmp3" website http://www.cokeamp3.com.sg as a tool for database compilation in an online contest: "Vote Your Favourite trexi".  The first 50 voters were privy to exclusive Rad Blastin' trexis.


Coca-Cola: Macau


Coca-Cola Macau kicked off their “Music Is My World” campaign working with 7-11 convenience stores in Macau for the redemption of six 1.5-inch trexi figures.

From 15 November to 18 December 2006, consumers who bought and collected 4 Coca-Cola ringpulls from special promotional “Music Is My World” Coca-Cola cans at 7-11 stores were entitled to redeem a 1.5-inch trexi figure for an additional HK$12.00 (sold in blind assortment).  200 lucky winners who picked a special trexi ringpull got their hands on an exclusive 10-inch “Music Is My World” trexi.  Marketing materials included bus shelter ads, flyers, posters, website promotion, and special “Music Is My World” packaging for Coca-Cola cans during the promotion period.   An exhibition was also held at ‘trexi zone’ at Sun Star City, a shopping mall in Macau featuring 4-foot tall “Music Is My World” trexi figures.

 




Motorola: Singapore


In November 2005, Motorola commissioned Play Imaginative to design a trexi character in conjunction with their first mobile handset to feature the iTunes capability, the Motorola ROKR E1.  In line with the music capabilites of the ROKR E1, Flinko took on the character of a celebrated underground rap artist and DJ.

Flinko trexis were given out to local consumers who purchased the Motorola ROKR E1 handsets.  A1-sized standees featuring Flinko were strategically placed at selected retail outlets to promote this redemption.  This was Motorola's first-of-its-kind redemption using a designer toy in Singapore.

Nike

Worldwide sporting giant Nike customised this exclusive “Crazy Football Kid” trexi, which was made available as a mystery figure in trexi Series 02 for branding purposes.  The trexi was conceptualized by Nike’s Art Director in the USA, Michael Shea.





Creative Technology

Creative Technology is a worldwide leader in digital entertainment products for the personal computer and the Internet.

This Creative trexi was commissioned for the launch of their new range of Zen Vision W MP3 players at Singapore’s SITEX show 2006, and available as a limited edition gift with purchase.

 

Mitsubishi Ralliart

Mitsubishi Motors’ Ralliart, established since 1984, has a strong racing heritage in events such as the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) and the gruelling Dakar rally.

Exclusive Ralliart trexis were given out to new members of The Ralliart Member’s Club as part of a welcome kit.

 

StarHub

StarHub is a Singapore-based info-communications company providing a full range of information, communications and entertainment services over fixed, mobile and Internet platforms.

New trexi heads with antennae as well as new accessories such as a laptop, set-top box and mobile phone were developed to showcase the telco’s capabilites in mobile, online and broadband TV using a unique medium.  These trexis were given out to customers at the ‘Hubbing’ Roadshow from 4 – 5 August 2006.

 

o.d.m.

o.d.m. is a Hong Kong-based watch brand that specialises in original designs and dynamic functions.

Limited edition o.d.m. trexis were bundled with the purchase of Mysterious VDD99 range of watches.

 

Sentosa

Sentosa, Singapore's premier island resort getaway, features multi-faceted appeal. Just 15 minutes from the city, it is a unique blend of leisure and recreational facilities including family attractions, sea sports, golf as well as hotel accommodation and retreats.

2 exclusive Sentosa trexis were created for sale on the island resort.

 

Kinokuniya

Kinokuniya Bookstores specialises in the sale of Japanese/foreign books, journals, magazines etc.

4 limited edition Kinokuniya trexis were redeemed by those who purchased Playtimes’ Issue #10 at Kinokuniya stores.  A different colour variant was given out each week over 4 weeks.

 

LIME

LIME magazine, an award-winning monthly publication for youths in Singapore, celebrated its 9th birthday with the limited edition “Twista Lime” trexis, which comes on a skateboard.

The trexis were made available for redemption to visitors at the LIME Sonic Bang-cum-LIME Flea Market @ *scape.

 

Cathay E2max

Cathay Cineleisure Orchard is a one-stop entertainment centre featuring a cineplex, restaurants, specialty shops, bowling and karaoke centres. 

E2Max trexis were given exclusively to new members of the new entertainment level, E2Max, a state-of-the-art entertainment venue.

 

OMD

OMD is one of largest full service media companies in the world, offering advertising, strategic media planning and buying, direct and promotional marketing, public relations and other specialty communications services.

2 special OMD trexis were created to bring to mind the brand’s position as a leader in media and print services.  They were given out to staff as gifts and also made available for sale.

 

Singapore Discovery Centre

The Singapore Discovery Centre is a state-of-the-art 'edutainment' attraction with a wide range of fun-filled multi-media interactive presentations and games.

SDC commissioned a special trexi when it opened its doors in April 2006.

 

MDIS

The Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), founded in 1956, is Singapore's oldest non-profit professional institute for lifelong learning.

The Institute commissioned 2 special trexi characters at their Open Day event and these were given to the first 500 attendees.

 

Singapore Polytechnic

Singapore Polytechnic, the nation's first educational institution of its kind, was set up in 1954 to train technologists and professionals to support the industrialisation and economic development of Singapore.

The Polytechnic invited students from each of its 7 schools to design a trexi, which were given out as door gifts during their annual Dinner & Dance in September 2006.

 

ZoCard

ZoCard is Singapore’s first and only award-winning free postcard company, with a prime audience that collects its advertising message at over 450 venues.

ZoCard commissioned a 10th anniversary trexi for guests at their birthday bash party.

 

Economic Development Board: Singapore

Singapore’s Economic Development Board’s (EDB) mission is to create sustainable GDP growth with good jobs and business opportunities for its people, and position Singapore as a compelling global hub for business and investment.

A special GES trexi was given out to VIPs as a commemorative gift at GES 2005, an international marketplace connecting enterprises to funds, markets, partners, and technology.  Four EDB trexis – “Marketeer, Innovator, Strategist and Globetrotter” – were custom-made for EDB’s scholarship program drive, each modelled after the different types of talents sought after and given out to students at 6 top junior colleges in Singapore.

 

Singapore Tourism Board

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is an economic development agency for one of Singapore's key service sectors - tourism. The Board strives to develop and champion tourism and build the sector into a key driver of economic growth for Singapore.

An exclusive red STB trexi was used as a door gift at their private event.  A purple variant was also made available as a mystery figure in trexi Series 01 which was sold in over 20 countries worldwide.
