DHL
DHL,
the world’s leading express and logistics company, announced
the official opening of its eXpo Service Centre @ Changi South
on 6th July to mark the company’s 35 years in Singapore.
The centre was opened by the Minister of State for Trade and
Industry, S Iswaran, and saw over 200 invited customers, media
and employees each receiving a DHL Courier trexi included in
the welcome goodie bag. As part of the celebration, DHL also
encouraged customers to personally lodge in shipments at the
new eXpo Service Centre to receive a free DHL Courier trexi. |

Electronics’ pair of adorable 1.5-inch trexis were distributed
at CommunicAsia 2007 in June, the region’s formative ICT
exhibition & conference. The trexis will also be available
during the Singapore Air Show from 19 to 24 February 2008. Singapore

the top three air shows in the world and serves as a global marketplace

Coca-Cola:
Worldwide Licensing
Play Imaginative’s expertise in designer toys and the popular
trexi platform served as a launching pad for the first licensing
program of its type with Coca-Cola’s Worldwide Licensing
team. The Coca-Cola Presents “We All Speak Football” trexi
Series comprises 25 renowned designers worldwide who share
a common passion for Coca-Cola and football.
Centred
on the concept of football as a ‘common language’ and
a deep passion which brings people from all walks of life together,
the trexis reflect the artists’ impressions of
what football and Coca-Cola mean to them. Packaged in their
individual, unique boxes designed by the respective artists,
each trexi includes design biographies and inspirations.

Coca-Cola: Singapore
For the inaugural launch of the trexi series in April
2005, Coca-Cola Singapore and Play Imaginative collaborated on
two trexi figures which carried the Coca-Cola brand values: Rex
Blastin’ and Rad Blastin’ trexis. Both
characters were designed to be fun, hip, and free spirits.
At
the launch event, the first 30 readers of “The New
Paper” (Singapore) redeemed exclusive Rex Blastin’ trexis with
a cut-out coupon. Rad Blastin' trexis were deployed
on the "CokeAmp3" website http://www.cokeamp3.com.sg as
a tool for database compilation in an online contest: "Vote
Your Favourite trexi". The first 50 voters
were privy to exclusive Rad Blastin' trexis.

Coca-Cola: Macau
Coca-Cola Macau kicked off their “Music Is My World” campaign
working with 7-11 convenience stores in Macau for the redemption
of six 1.5-inch trexi figures.
From
15 November to 18 December 2006, consumers who bought and collected
4 Coca-Cola ringpulls from special promotional “Music
Is My World” Coca-Cola cans at 7-11 stores were entitled
to redeem a 1.5-inch trexi figure for an additional HK$12.00
(sold in blind assortment). 200 lucky winners who picked
a special trexi ringpull got their hands on an exclusive 10-inch “Music
Is My World” trexi. Marketing materials included
bus shelter ads, flyers, posters, website promotion, and special “Music
Is My World” packaging for Coca-Cola cans during the promotion
period. An exhibition was also held at ‘trexi
zone’ at Sun Star City, a shopping mall in Macau featuring
4-foot tall “Music Is My World” trexi figures.

Motorola: Singapore
In November 2005, Motorola commissioned Play Imaginative to design
a trexi character in conjunction with their first mobile handset
to feature the iTunes capability, the Motorola ROKR E1. In
line with the music capabilites of the ROKR E1, Flinko took
on the character of a celebrated underground rap artist and
DJ.
Flinko
trexis were given out to local consumers who purchased the
Motorola ROKR E1 handsets. A1-sized standees featuring
Flinko were strategically placed at selected retail outlets to
promote this redemption. This was Motorola's first-of-its-kind
redemption using a designer toy in Singapore.

Worldwide sporting giant Nike customised this exclusive “Crazy
Football Kid” trexi, which was made available as a mystery
figure in trexi Series 02 for branding purposes. The trexi
was conceptualized by Nike’s Art Director in the USA, Michael
Shea.

Creative trexi was commissioned for the launch of their new
range of Zen Vision W MP3 players at Singapore’s SITEX

Mitsubishi Ralliart
Mitsubishi Motors’ Ralliart, established since 1984, has
a strong racing heritage in events such as the FIA World Rally
Championship (WRC) and the gruelling Dakar rally.

for EDB’s scholarship program drive, each modelled after
the different types of talents sought after and given out to
students at 6 top junior colleges in Singapore.
